Hey guys! Sorry I've been MIA this week. I've been pretty busy preparing for the Psyc GRE that I'm taking this Saturday and all the other normal work. As I've been preparing for this test, I have found it funny what concepts I have to study. Of course I have to study the stages of cognitive development and Maslow's hierarchy of needs. However, I had to write down the difference between between-subjects and within-subjects factors! How sad is that? I feel like they are one of those "over thinking the question" set of terms that you could get mixed up with even though you know the answer. I mean, I took multivariate stats, so I hope I know that! Luckily studying for this test has been SO much more enjoyable than the general GRE test! :) After all of this studying, I wish I had taken a developmental psychology or sensation and perception class.
Okay, I'm sure you're wondering what my post title is all about? Well, I found a FANTASTIC dairy free, soy free "ice cream!" It's smooth and creamy (but not melt-fast creamy...gross) and has the perfect amount of chocolate flavor. The brand is Purely Decadent and this chocolate "ice cream" is made with coconut milk! It definitely has some hints of coconut, but it's not overpowering at all. So if you don't like coconut, you'll probably like it.
I'm off to study more! Tomorrow I'm heading down to Charlottesville to meet up with my Mom for a post-birthday celebration for both of us. I take the GRE Saturday then get to catch up with my cousin who goes to UVA! :) Fun weekend!
